Emjoi Lady Shaver Use Instructions

Remove the protective cap from the shaving head before shaving. Depress the lock button and slide main switch up to 0 position. For use on more or less flat areas of skin it is best to use the straight part of the trimmer. Move it lightly at a slight angle against the direction of growth of the hair so that the foil then shaves the stubble smoothly away, if necessary taut the skin with the fingers of the other hand in order to give the smoothest shave. This achieves the closest shave without stressing the skin. Through experience you will soon discover the technique to give you the best result. For less accessible skin areas such as the underarm it is best to use the curved side of the trimmer. After use, replace the protective cap on the shaving head.

Using Shaver with Soap or foam Lather:

When using soapy lather, the shaver will glide smoothly over the skin, cleansing away oil residue while at the same time leaving the skin soft and smooth.

Apply the soap or foam generously to the skin. Do not use shaving cream of the non-lathering type, nourishing cream, or skin lotion. Each time after using the shaver, nnse thoroughly with warm water to remove all shaving residue. DO NOT USE HOT WATER.

After shaving :

Immediately after shaving you can apply cream or lotion to your skin. We do not recommend applying perfume or deodorant just after shaving.

Cleaning and maintenance:

You can clean the outside of the LADY SHAVE WET & DRY with a soft damp cloth. Careful cleaning after each shave ensures the effectiveness of the shaver. Blow the hair particles out thoroughly. Rinse the shaver under running water or in a basin with the power switch OFF You can also turn the shaver switch ON, but only for 2 to 3 second. Be careful not to touch the cutter block when turned ON.

Never clean the foil with the cleaning brush. Clean the cutter and the trimmer only with the cleaning brush provided to help remover hair and foam from cutter and trimmer assembly while rinsing. After cleaning, shake slightly, hold shaver facing downward into sink and turn shaver on for a few seconds to dispel additional water - a gentle shaking will help. Wipe the surface of the main unit with a dry towel. During general cleaning (about once a month depending on use) the cutter block should be lifted up by grasping the two trimmers and pulling away from the shaver. When replacing the cutter block take care that it clicks properly into position. Oiled with one drop of sewing machine oil during the general cleaning.

3. If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to cosmetics or shaving foams, please test the device on a small area on your arm or leg prior to use.
4. Do not use the device if the foil screen is faulty as this may cut your skin. Replace faulty parts according to the above instructions or at the nearest service station.
5. Take care not to drop or hurt the device as the foil screen is extremely delicate.
6. Do not submerge your shaver in water.
7. Use shaving foam only as shaving gel or cream may block the delicate openings of the foil sheet.
8. Do not throw used batteries into your dustbin! Instead, make sure to dispose of them in the appropriate place
