Emjoi Classic Use Instructions
Battery Installation:
To operate your Emjoi Classic for the first time, open the battery cover
and insert 3 AA alkaline batteries (1.5VLR6) as indicated inside the battery compartment. With the batteries properly in position, replace the battery cover . Before using your Emjoi Classic for the first time, we recommend using the unit on the back of your hand or your ankle to familiarize yourself with the unit. The uncomfortable sensation you might feel at first will diminish as you continue to use your Emjoi Classic.

For Use on Legs, Bikini Line,and Under Arms: For Use on Unwanted Facial Hair and Other Sensitive Areas:
- Remove the protective cover from the epilation head before using.
- Before each use on the face or other sensitive area, we recommend cleaning your Emjoi Classic with rubbing alcohol (see Cleaning the Emjoi Classic)
- Gently pull your facial skin taut , and hold the Emjoi Classic at a 90° angle to the area being treated, with the switch facing up. Pressing the violet safety button in the center of the switch, slide the switch to the desired speed (high or low). Move the Emjoi Classic in rapid circles, lightly skimming the skin’s surface. There is no need to apply pressure with the Emjoi Classic. Before using your Emjoi Classic for the first time, we recommend using the unit on the back of your hand or your ankle to familiarize yourself with the unit.
- Remove the protective cover from the epilation head before use.
- Before each use, we recommend cleaning your Emjoi Classic for hygienic reasons.
- Gently pulling your skin taut, hold the Emjoi Classic at a 90° angle to the area being treated, with the switch facing you.
- Pressing the violet safety button in the center of the switch, slide the switch to the desired speed (high or low)). Move the Emjoi Classic in rapid circles, lightly skimming the skin’s surface. There is no need to apply pressure with the Emjoi Classic.
- To remove hair from the back of the knee, straighten your leg so that the skin is stretched taut and hold Emjoi Classic as before, at a right angle to the area being treated.

Caution:
Be careful when using the Emjoi Classic on the area of the upper lip. Protect your upper lip with your other hand by pressing downwards on the upper lip. The Emjoi Classic has been designed to be used on the upper lip area, chin area and cheek area of the face. We do not recommend using the unit by the eyebrows, forehead or hairline.
